Of course there are situations in which nobody is answerable for demages, for example when the claimant walked onto the battlefield with expensive designer glasses though knowing the hazard and the glasses get broken by an unintended hit.

Some hints for security

The IDV safety arrows guarantee the required technical safety for carefree and easy-going gaming fun.

Safety can, however, not be reached through technical measures only. Technical measures can and must prevent the worst case.

But how often this extreme case happens, is exclusively in the users’ hands. Bows with more than 25 – 30 lbs. have no place in live action role playing. Already the limit of 30 lbs. places extreme demands on the material and safety concept of arrows!

The optimized aerodynamics and reach of IDV safety arrows provide the possibility to use even considerably weaker bows (15 – 20 lbs.) and thus to additionally increase the safety over the entire trajectory.

No technical safety measure can ever be a substitute for considerate and responsible behaviour: nothing provides more safety than forgoing the shot in unclear situations.

Through their optimized aerodynamics IDV arrows have a considerably flatter trajectory and higher reach than conventional models. Therefore, do not use IDV arrows mixing them with other types and get familiar with the flight characteristics of IDV arrows before using them.

And last but not least, any technical construction may grow old, get damaged and fail. Therefore, everybody needs to check his equipment regularly and carefully.

Defective material needs to be sorted out at once and protected against inadvertent use.
